Job description

We're seeking a cloud architect to deliver business value to our clients. If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service) Your role

  • Architect and deliver E2E cloud data solutions using AWS, Azure or GCP and modern engineering patterns.
  • Lead a team of engineers, including providing guidance and training.
  • Develop and implement resilience strategies, focusing on business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational risk management.
  • Assess vulnerabilities and risks across IT infrastructure and business processes.
  • Design and implement failover and recovery solutions (including testing), ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate resilience into security frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor emerging trends and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

Do you have experience in NIST standards?, * Proven experience in architecture with a focus on disaster recovery, or business continuity.

  • Expertise in cloud technologies, networking, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience designing solutions using Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of resilience frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST, ITIL).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

It would be preferable to have certifications such as TOGAF. We are a Disability Confident Employer
