Moodle Developer

We are seeking an experienced Moodle Developer to join the Digital Learning Environments product team within the Digital Education domain of the Information Services Division(ISD). This role will be working within a multi-disciplinary agile product team of Moodle Developers, Analyst Developers (Ops), Learning Technologists, UX designer and Tech Leads to develop UCL's Moodle. The team values being part of the open-source Moodle community, providing feedback and fixes upstream wherever possible to new plugins and to core Moodle. This role will be responsible for writing and maintaining clean, secure code and software configuration, adopting a test-driven approach, and ensuring software is easy to use.

Do you have experience in UX?, The ideal candidate will be someone who has developed a variety of plugin types for Moodle, contributed to Moodle core, a great team player, with strong analytical skills and high levels of attention to detail. You will need to have a strong working knowledge of software development lifecycle stages, application software design including the design of multi-tier solutions, data structures, security, user interfaces and web services, developing software applications using modern tools and advanced techniques.
