Job description

Provide functional, technical expertise to support complex and cross-area implementations and/or customer requests, * Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline. Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area.

  • Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
  • Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.

Specific accountabilities:

  • Provides pre-sales functional consultancy to advise customers on appropriate products and solutions utilization.
  • Provides functional and technical expertise to support complex and cross-area initiatives.

This may cover:

  • In pre implementation phase: verify customer's workflow, check customers' expectations in terms of Quality of Service, traffic estimates and anticipate potential issues, by coordinating with R&D and ADP people. Verify cascaded impact on Amadeus partners
  • During implementation: provide support to customers or other customer facing teams
  • Post implementation: monitor quality of services and provide chargeable functional consultancy to the customers. Diagnose complex and cross-functional issues, and provide recommendation for fix or improvement

When applicable for the product or solution considered, drive the running of benchmarks of Amadeus products versus competition, analyze results and provide recommendations.

With support from experienced Product Consultants, the Product Consulting Specialist can:

  • Participate to product evolution to anticipate the needs and the impacts of proposed changes, both on the system and on the business
  • Manage specific actions necessary to integrate Amadeus products/services (follow procedures, processes in place in the team)
  • Follow the product/solution integration schedule in agreement with the customer
  • Participate to writing functional or non-functional requirements and/or verify that specifications reflect customer/internal requirements
  • Participate to the validation phase (that customized products/solutions meet specified requirements)
  • Support sales activities through presentation and documentation concerning product/solution integration

Requirements

Do you have experience in SaaS?, * strong abilities and interest towards technical digital products

  • customer relationship management and stakeholder management
  • ideally a first experience in a Saas environment / travel environment is a plus, not a pre-requisite
