Job description
We're looking for a Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our Group CISO team.
You'll proactively monitor the threat landscape and keep the business updated on anything that poses a risk to L&G. You'll also monitor threat actors and the tactics, techniques and procedures utilised to update the protection, detection and response in place at L&G. This will include proactively monitoring for adverse changes in security posture across L&G's supply chain, assessing the risk associated to any identified issues, and where appropriate, working with the affected Supplier Relationship Manager to help remediate the identified issue.
What you'll be doing:
- Analysing and understanding threat actors' tactics, techniques and procedures, translating this into operational activities for colleagues to undertake
- Ensuring the business is updated across strategic, operational and tactical threat intelligence with any changes to the threat landscape highlighted
- Dynamically assessing the risk associated with any identified issues or alerts and prioritising response activity as appropriate
- Managing requirements from business stakeholders and creating artefacts that are ingested by the business
- Monitoring for adverse changes in security posture across L&G's supply chain, assessing the risk associated with any identified issues, and where appropriate, working with the affected supplier relationship manager to help remediate the identified issue
- Maintaining the threat intelligence platforms on an ongoing basis, ensuring the platforms and services remain fit for purpose
- Working closely across L&G CISO security teams, including Security Operations and Vulnerability Management, to ensure intelligence is ingested and shared effectively
Requirements
Do you have experience in Analysis skills?, * Working knowledge of Threat Intelligence Platforms and threat feeds (STIX/TAXII)
- A good understanding of strategic, operational and tactical threat intelligence
- Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
- Ability to identify and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and communicate the associated cyber risk
- Experience in managing third-party relationships would be great
- Threat Intelligence and /or Cyber Security certification (CPTIA, CRTIA, CCTIM, GCTI, GOSI, GSOA or equivalent) would be a huge plus!
