Job description
- Run and maintain vulnerability scans across the environment to identify vulnerabilities and confirm when they are fixed.
- Define and produce vulnerability metrics to support patching teams and senior stakeholders.
- Maintain a list of vulnerability scanning exceptions.
- Use vendor reports and intelligence sources to continually identify high-risk vulnerabilities affecting Bank assets.
Risk & Compliance
Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Virtualization?, * Knowledge of enterprise IT technologies covering networks, virtualisation, cloud etc.
- Experience of using vulnerability scanning technologies to gather and report vulnerability data.
- Experience of using vulnerability data to advise patching teams and IT owners.
- Solid understanding of how vulnerabilities can be exploited.
- Experience of working with open source and closed threat intelligence providers.
- Understanding of Threat Intelligence standards e.g. STIX and TAXII.
- Experience with analysing threat intelligence reports.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
- Experience of penetration testing.
- Experience with social engineering and red teaming.
- Experience of writing technical reports.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Experience with SIEM platforms.
