Job description
- Take ownership of organisation infrastructure oversight for both on-premises and Cloud
- Lead and deliver strategic IT projects across infrastructure, security, and systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Act as a technical lead and escalation point for service desk and project-related work and complex support issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to scope, plan, and implement solutions across departments.
- Manage and support modern workplace technologies including Intune, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and fully managed devices across iPad/iOS, macOS, Windows, and Android.
- Maintain and troubleshoot legacy infrastructure including domain controllers, group policies, and server environments.
- Ensure compliance with ISO27001 frameworks and contribute to security baseline enforcement.
- Support team development through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Document project plans, technical procedures, and change control processes.
- Provide cover solutions during rota gaps and peak periods to maintain service continuity.
- Oversee IT budgets to maintain and report cost efficiency across IT operation.

Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, * Proven experience leading a small IT service desk team.
- Strong technical expertise across infrastructure, endpoint management, and cloud services.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 modern workplace technologies including Intune, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Experience managing fully managed devices across iPad/iOS, macOS, Windows, and Android.
- Familiarity with legacy infrastructure such as domain controllers and group policies.
- Experience working within ISO27001 frameworks and maintaining compliance.
- Strong understanding of security baselines and their application in environments handling sensitive data.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and mentor support engineers.

- Experience with Microsoft Graph API and SSO integrations.
- Exposure to Agile or structured project methodologies.
- Understanding of service desk operations and escalation processes.
- Experience with Cyber Essentials (CE) compliance.
- Hands-on experience with macOS and Jira administration.
- Knowledge of Healthcare/Healthtech sectors.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL).
