Job description
You will be a Senior Platform Engineer at LemFi, responsible for designing, building, and evolving the cloud infrastructure that powers global money movement at scale.
Your mission is to create a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient AWS cloud platform that enables engineers to ship faster while meeting the operational and regulatory standards of a global fintech provider.
You won't just maintain infrastructure - you'll build a self-service internal cloud platform that improves reliability, strengthens security, and ensures our systems remain resilient as we process billions in transactions worldwide.
How You'll Contribute
- Design and scale AWS infrastructure with a focus on reliability, security, and cost-efficiency
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation) ensuring changes are auditable and reproducible
- Improve observability (monitoring, logging, alerting, tracing) and strengthen SLO-driven reliability
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and contribute to our Internal Developer Platform
- Support incident response, disaster recovery, and compliance (GDPR, PCI DSS, SOC2, DORA, ISO27001)
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, * Ownership-driven - you take initiatives from design through production
- Reliability-focused, with strong SRE principles
- Security-conscious, understanding encryption, IAM, and compliance needs
- Collaborative communicator who partners well across Engineering & Security
What You'll Bring
- Strong experience with AWS (ECS, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, Networking)
- Hands-on expertise in Terraform and/or CloudFormation (IaC)
- Experience with Docker and containerised workloads
- Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption & key management
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
- Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., New Relic)
- Exposure to event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and distributed architectures
