Job description
You will work alongside experienced IT professionals, supporting Kering's teams and participating in the adoption of Cloud and DevOps technologies. You will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in a multi-cloud environment.
You will be part of Kering Cloud team which overseas assists our Brands and corporate teams in their cloud journey.
It has been initiated 8 years ago with AWS (still the main cloud provider as of today) and then with GCP to address AI/data needs & Alibaba Cloud to comply with Chinese regulations and support our Chinese activities.
The current team includes SREs, FinOps, Cloud Ops and PMs focused on infrastructure & platform reliability. They aim to provide ready-to-dev platforms, so everyone can easily and quickly deploy things, without bothering with the infrastructure underneath and regardless of the Cloud Providers (AWS/GCP/Alibaba).
How you will contribute
Define cloud landing zones, network topology, identity and access models, and operational frameworks.
Design end-to-end cloud infrastructure architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and container-based platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
Develop reference architectures, standards, and reusable patterns aligned with industry best practices.
Guide engineering teams in building scalable and resilient solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
Evaluate new cloud services and technologies to support modernization and innovation.
Influence cloud strategy and roadmap in collaboration with enterprise architecture and leadership.
Study the Customer projects technical feasibility and provide guidance.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and cloud security frameworks.
Identify areas for optimization (costs, automation, observability).
Ensure good collaboration and communication with other tech teams.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Computer Science / Information Technology Degree or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of experience in infra and/or cloud technologies.
Solid understanding of cloud networking, identity access management, compute, storage, and security.
Mastering in IaaS/PaaS solutions of the main cloud vendors (especially AWS and Google, Alibaba would be a plus).
At least one AWS Professional Certification and experience on GCP or Alibaba would be a plus.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, etc…).
Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS/EKS/GKE).
Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools, and operational process in a large enterprise (ITSM).
Understanding of observability platforms (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
Understanding of cloud security concepts and tools (IAM, CNAPP, secrets management).
Aptitude to drive complex tech discussions and orient the team's roadmap in a modern SRE environment (Infra as code, Kubernetes, GitOps).
Ability to work directly and as a team player with various people (application architects, developers, production engineers, etc…).
Leadership and clear communication are key for that position.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and international environment.
Fluent in French & English.
