Senior Manager IT Infrastructure EMEA

As Senior Manager Infrastructure for EMEA, you are responsible for the availability, health and security of the IT infrastructure platforms and services we deliver to our customers. Your scope will be all compute, storage and backup devices, as well as the virtualization software used to manage and present these to our customers. You will work closely with your colleagues in the Support team, the Network team and the Operating Systems and Applications team to provide an excellent experience for our customers and employees. The EMEA infra team consists of 18 virtualization, storage and backup engineers.

In this role you will:

• Maintain, and if necessary, improve the availability, health and security of the platforms
• Create short- and long-term plans and budgets, and steer the execution of these plans
• Steer all relevant infrastructural ITIL-related processes
• Maintain a work environment where people feel included and motivated
• Improve and simplify operational processes and procedures
• Work with other departments on expanding the platforms and onboarding new customers

Do you have experience in Virtualization?, * A curious, results-driven, collaborative, and open mindset

• The ability to proactively address issues before they escalate
• A strong ability to work effectively in a functionally organized, international environment built on cooperation
• Several years of experience leading infrastructure teams within a solution-provider context
• A proven track record of simplifying processes and a strong affinity for automation
• Experience in project governance
• Experience working in an international environment (preferred)
