Software Developer

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, Integrate Autoware (open-source self-driving autonomy) with the CARLA simulator on a local machine, enabling destination setting, autonomous navigation, and obstacle avoidance. This requires the full Autoware navigation and AI stack to be running.

• Containerise the Autoware setup using Docker and integrate it with our existing AWS environment. Autoware will need to be deployed on a separate EC2 instance and communicate reliably with the EC2 instance running CARLA, replicating local-machine behaviour.

Required experience: Core skills: * Linux * Python * Terminal/CLI * Building and working with the CARLA simulator * Building and integrating the Autoware autonomy stack

AWS integration skills: * Strong experience designing and operating cloud-native systems on AWS * AWS CDK (Infrastructure as Code) * TypeScript * React (front end) * AWS Batch * AWS ECS
