Job description
IT Infrastructure Engineer vacancy for our Zürich based client in the Telecommunication sector.
Your tasks:
- Enable operating system teams to install BigFix software on their servers
- Act as a single point of contact for technical questions regarding BigFix deployment
- Support the project manager in planning and tracking project progress
- Ensure transparent and active communication between engineering teams
- Assist with rollout, migration, and collaboration processes across multiple teams
Your experience/knowledge:
- Background in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Experience with backend/agent applications on Windows or Linux server systems
- Understanding of infrastructure components including networking, storage, and virtualisation
- Basic proficiency in Scripting (eg, PowerShell, Bash, Python) and familiarity with DevOps technologies (eg, Artifactory, Ansible, Docker, GIT, JIRA)
- Language skills: English
