Job description

  • You lead and develop a global network team, including performance management, coaching, succession planning, and fostering a service-oriented high-performance culture

  • You are responsible for ensuring a stable, secure, and highly available network operation across data centers, production sites, cloud environments, and remote access, while ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs

  • You plan, manage, and implement global network programs such as modernization, segmentation, zero-trust initiatives, cloud connectivity, and hardware lifecycle management

  • You define and maintain global network architecture standards and roadmaps, provide strategic guidance for business initiatives, and ensure alignment with security, infrastructure, and business teams

  • You take on budget responsibility, manage vendors and managed service providers, and oversee contract, procurement, and negotiation processes with internal and external partners

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in enterprise networking, network operations, and leading global or regional network teams in business-critical environments

  • Deep technical expertise in Cisco networking, including OSPF, BGP, ISE, Catalyst Center, Wireless, LAN/WAN, SD-Access, SDA Fabric, SD-WAN, as well as VPN, authentication, and certificate technologies

  • Extensive experience with Palo Alto firewalls, network segmentation, policy management, zero-trust concepts, and familiarity with SASE and cloud networks such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, along with proven experience in managing service providers and managed service partners, as well as driving transformation and modernization initiatives
