Job description

As part of an international software development team, you will provide cutting-edge geodetic solutions critical for accurate coordinate transformations, supporting professionals in Surveying, Construction, GIS, BIM, and CAD.

  • Implement, test, and maintain geodetic models required for over 140 target countries within the shared Trimble Geodetic Library.
  • Design and implement the seamless integration of these geodetic models into web, desktop, and mobile software implemented by Trimble's Advanced Positioning and Geospatial divisions.
  • Assist software engineers worldwide in integrating new versions of the Trimble Geodetic Library & Database into Web, Desktop & Mobile applications including:
  • Trimble Connect
  • Trimble Pivot Platform
  • Trimble Business Center (TBC)
  • Trimble Access
  • Trimble Terraflex
  • Trimble SiteVision
  • Collaborate with team members to examine requirements, guide, and propose innovative functional designs for geodetic solutions.
  • Coordinate efforts with worldwide distributed hardware and software teams to align work with various centers of expertise.
  • Work in an Agile development process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, high-precision software solutions., By integrating sensors, field applications, real-time communications, field and back-office processing, modeling, and analytics, Trimble Geospatial solutions facilitate a high quality, productive workflow and data exchange to drive efficiency, productivity, safety and value in organizations of all sizes. Requirements

Are you interested in solving the most complex challenges in advanced positioning, focusing on geodetic modeling for global accuracy? Would you like to develop and integrate cutting-edge algorithms for mean sea level and tectonic modeling?, * Master's STEM degree or related and building /or equivalent professional experience

  • Demonstrated experience (2/3 years) as a developer in C# or C++ environment
  • Proactive team player mindset that strives to engage with distributed colleagues
  • Effective communication skills in French and English
  • Knowledge in Geodesy (Coordinate Reference Systems) is a plus
  • Experience in writing, consuming, and deploying web services is a plus
  • Experience in Android and iOS developments is a plus
  • Experience with optical survey, GNSS, GIS, CAD, Civil Engineering, 3D scanning or photogrammetry is a plus
  • A strong math background is a plus
