Group IT Auditor

Reporting to the Head of Group Audit, you will support the delivery of a risk-based IT audit plan across the business. You'll lead audits end-to-end, assess technology risks, and provide practical recommendations to strengthen the control environment., * Planning and delivering risk-based IT internal audits

• Reviewing and assessing IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT Application Controls
• Identifying control weaknesses and evaluating risk exposure
• Producing clear, high-quality audit reports with actionable recommendations
• Supporting annual assurance reviews aligned to recognised frameworks
• Building strong working relationships with IT and business stakeholders
• Tracking remediation actions and driving continuous improvement
• Providing IT assurance on major business and technology change programmes
• This role offers broad exposure across IT governance, security and infrastructure in a sizeable, multi-site environment.

You will ideally have:

• Experience delivering IT internal audits, including ITGCs and application controls
• Strong report-writing skills and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly in person to stake holders at all levels within an organisation.
• Confidence working with and influencing senior stakeholders
• A delivery-focused mindset with strong organisational skills
• A proactive, resilient and collaborative approach

Desirable:

• Previous hands on knowledge of IT security and infrastructure
• Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and COBIT
• Experience providing assurance over major transformation programmes
• Working towards or holding a relevant qualification such as; Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA),Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
