  • Support security, risk, and compliance requirements by implementing secure ingestion pipelines in PCI-sensitive environments, contributing to platform security controls, and supporting regulatory and audit reporting requirements.
  • Drive automation and modern delivery practices using Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps tooling such as Ansible, Terraform, GitOps, Jenkins, GitHub, and AWS-based CI/CD pipelines, including QA testing and controlled production deployments.
  • Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers, promoting best practices in Splunk development and operations, and contributing to platform governance, documentation standards, and long-term strategic platform roadmaps.

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Splunk in clustered, distributed environments.
  • Strong experience across Splunk design, administration, troubleshooting and optimisation.
  • Proven expertise in SmartStore configuration and optimisation.
  • Strong background in secure data ingestion and handling sensitive data.
  • Experience tuning distributed search and improving performance at scale.
  • Experience working within regulated financial services environments.
  • Strong Linux infrastructure knowledge.
  • Scripting capability in Bash, Python or Perl.
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, GitOps).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, AWS environments)

Desirable Experience

  • Payments processing or corporate banking systems experience.
  • PCI compliance regulations and reporting exposure.
  • Fraud detection or transaction monitoring environments.
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring tooling (eg, AppDynamics).
