This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to make a real impact on service reliability and resilience.

What you'll do:

  • Act as a subject matter expert, resolving complex service issues and managing escalations.
  • Lead recovery efforts during incidents and outages, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps in service delivery and implementing solutions.
  • Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles, using automation and software tools to improve system stability. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across a range of technologies.

Requirements

Essential skills and experience:

  • Microsoft SQL Server (including T-SQL and SSIS) and debugging SSRS reports.

  • REST API integrations (JSON, XML) and automation opportunities.

  • Strong background in IT Operations or Service Management within a support environment.

  • Understanding of secure file transfer protocols (SFTP) and encryption standards.

  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary technical teams and business users to diagnose and resolve incidents.

  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).

  • Ability to manage incidents under pressure, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach.

What will make you stand out:

The technical skills above are fundamental to the role, but the following skills would help you stand out even further as a strong candidate:

  • Familiarity with financial products (GIA, ISA, SIPP) and regulatory frameworks.
  • Dynatrace monitoring and FNZ Wrap Platform experience.
  • Working with Azure services (Data Factory, Key Vault, SQL, Storage, Cosmos DB, DevOps).
  • Knowledge of certificate management and mTLS authentication.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.

Benefits & conditions

What we offer:

  • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%
  • An annual performance-related bonus
  • Share schemes including free shares
  • Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
  • 30 days' holiday, plus bank holidays
  • A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies

Why join us?
