Job description

SAX London is looking for a commercially-minded Website & E-commerce Manager to implement ideas and strategies that grow our online business. This is a hands-on role for someone who can turn opportunities into action - improving the website, executing marketing activity, and driving measurable e-commerce growth.

A significant portion of our sales ship internationally, and we run DDP, so strong international e-commerce experience is essential. You must understand how to optimise global conversion and customer experience around shipping, duties, tax, pricing, and localisation.

This role is for someone who can combine Shopify expertise, marketing execution, and conversion-focused thinking, not someone who just keeps the site "alive".

What you'll be doing

  • Implement ideas and strategies to grow online sales across the website, email marketing, SEO, and customer journey
  • Manage Sax.co.uk / Saxshop.com (Shopify): day-to-day site management, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
  • International e-commerce optimisation (USA focus / DDP):
  • ensure duties/taxes messaging is clear and conversion-friendly
  • improve international checkout confidence (no surprise bills, delivery expectations, trust signals)
  • refine shipping and returns content so it reduces friction and support load
  • support market-specific pricing/currency strategy and localisation improvements
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO): improve product pages, collections, navigation, search, merchandising, upsells/bundles, trust elements, and checkout performance
  • Email marketing (Mailchimp): build and manage campaigns, automations and segmentation (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, browse abandonment)
  • SEO: lead on-site SEO improvements (technical basics, on-page, internal linking, collection structure, content optimisation)
  • Paid media alignment: Work with our agency to support Meta Ads + Google Ads by ensuring landing pages, offers, tracking and funnels convert
  • Site development & UX: implement upgrades with a strong focus on mobile experience, speed, clarity and usability
  • Analytics & reporting: track performance, identify opportunities, run tests, and make improvements quickly

Requirements

Do you have experience in Usability?, * Proven track record in e-commerce growth

  • Experience implementing marketing strategies that drive online sales, not just maintaining channels
  • Shopify experience is essential (themes, apps, product/collection architecture, workflows)
  • International e-commerce experience
  • confident working with DDP, duties/taxes communication, and landed-cost expectations
  • understands how shipping, returns, delivery times, and trust signals affect conversion
  • pricing strategy across markets/currencies and localisation improvements
  • Technical ability: HTML + CSS required
  • Bonus: Liquid (Shopify), JavaScript, basic API/app integrations
  • Commercial mindset: you understand conversion rate, AOV, margin, CAC, LTV - and you use data to make decisions
  • Strong attention to detail, organised, and able to execute without hand-holding
