Job description
Corpay is currently looking to hire a BI Manager within our organization. This position will be based in Swindon and will follow a hybrid working model. The BI Manager will develop new insights and understanding to support business performance based on data, as well as support existing performance reporting processes. This role is part of the global data leadership team and is hands-on, with responsibility for leading a small team of BI Developers. Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Manage the development of our BI technology stack (Tableau, AWS, MS SQL) to deliver actionable insights across the business and maintain a relevant suite of reports, regularly reviewing and updating outputs in line with usage and business demand
- Hands-on development using AWS Redshift or similar data warehouse technologies
- Lead the transformation of the BI team by upskilling team members to develop multidisciplinary capabilities and revamping the delivery model to set the team up for success
- Define, manage, and track the team's work plans in line with business demand, providing direction and coaching to build capability
- Work closely with Data Engineering and Data Science teams, collaborating on cross-functional initiatives
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across Sales Leadership and Sales Analytics to ensure policies and technical processes are aligned and fully automated
- Partner with business leaders to drive improvements in data quality and foster a strong data-driven culture
- Drive project execution with a strong focus on planning, delivery, and results, understanding customer challenges and responding to business needs
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, * Proven experience managing a data, insight, or analytics team, with a hands-on approach
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience using Tableau or other data visualization tools
- Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (Redshift and Glue)
- Strong knowledge of data modelling, data warehouse design, and data lake concepts and methodologies (e.g., Kimball)
- Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python) is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to build an environment where data and insight drive decision-making
