Job description

We are seeking a skilled Computer & Phone Repair Technician with excellent customer service skills to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electronic devices, including computers and smartphones. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand tools, and a solid understanding of computer hardware and networking. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs while providing exceptional support to our customers in a fast-paced environment.   • Use hand tools and specialised equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble devices accurately.

  • Perform routine maintenance on computer hardware and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct computer networking setups, including configuring routers, switches, and other network components.

  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used in each case.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Schematics?, * Proven experience in computer repair, equipment repair or related technical roles.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools for delicate repairs.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Knowledge of computer networking principles and equipment setup.
  • Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently on various electronic devices.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and repair procedures.
  • Good communication skills to assist customers effectively and explain technical issues clearly.
