Job description

They want someone credible and confident who can work across teams, challenge when needed, and help raise quality consistently., * Lead the systems and reporting function so staff can rely on accurate, up to date performance data.

  • Improve how information is shared by building better dashboards, reporting tools, and automated processes.
  • Make sure data systems and timetables support smooth day to day operations, planning, and decision making.

Role Responsibilities

  • Guide and support the Systems and Reporting team to deliver accurate and timely data to internal teams.
  • Build and improve self-service reporting tools, dashboards, and automated data checks.
  • Make sure data and systems support curriculum planning, performance tracking, and income forecasting.
  • Regularly review dashboards, reports, and datasets so they stay useful and meet funding and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the student records system (EBS), including updates, maintenance, integrations with other systems, and GDPR-compliant data handling.
  • Oversee the timetabling service to ensure staff and students have accurate, fully aligned timetables.

Requirements

  • Degree-level education (or equivalent) or strong relevant experience in a similar role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, BI, or systems development.
  • Hands-on experience building BI/reporting solutions using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to work accurately with data.
  • Full rights to work within the UK.
