In Engineering we value professionalism, sustainability, and respect; we hold each other to high standards, give each other considered and constructive feedback, work smart, and look out for each other. Learn more about our engineering culture here!, As part of the engineering team, you'll be working on a suite of innovative products that monitor over US$26 trillion in assets under management every single day, used by some of the world's largest Investment Managers. We need highly motivated, intelligent people hungry for a challenge. At FundApps, you'll see the inner workings of a fast-growing, bootstrapped scaleup where we expect all Engineers to take responsibility for their part in our success, seek support when needed, and care equally about our products and client outcomes as you do about writing code. We solve business problems through technology, not just ship code. We like keeping our tech stack modern and are not afraid to invest to keep it cutting edge! As such we've implemented a component-library that allows our more backend focused folk to create new interfaces with ease; we're using nx to break down a monolithic UI into discrete products; and we are looking forward to connecting our products in new ways this year, with your help.
Our tech stack
- Front-end: React, TypeScript, Rest APIs, React Testing Library, Cypress
- Back-end: C#

- Working closely with product experts, customers and the rest of our technical team.
- Building new features end-to-end with your team across our growing range of products.
- Being an integral member of our UI Guild to continually improve shared processes to build, test and release our software
- Teaching and guiding engineers with less experience in frontend how to build things right and to optimise our product for our clients.
- Contributing flexibly across the whole stack as needed. Whilst we have .NET at the core of our stack, we're pragmatic about other technologies and open-minded about your technology background.
- Breaking down complex epics into bite-sized stories to optimise for flow (we work Kanban-style).
- Working with Product and Engineering management to deliver value continuously, and keep all stakeholders in the loop., FundApps is a company powered by experts, with a client community of 1000s and a culture underpinned by ethics. Oh - and we make the best regulatory software so our clients can "get a good night's sleep now they have FundApps' [real client quote] Many lawyers, ex-regulators, info sec and other experts work for the B Corp that is FundApps. We are all about future-proofing our compliance monitoring and reporting software so we can always monitor the £30trn (and growing) of AuM for the industry's most active and happy global compliance community [we get top notch NPS + CSAT scores year after year].
