Catalyst Test Lead

Softcat is embarking on a multi-year Sales system replacement programme using on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), PROS smart CPQ and Copilot platform. We require a Business Systems Analyst to take responsibility for gathering, analysing, documenting, and managing business requirements through the full lifecycle of programme, from initial scoping through to detailed requirements during the build and test stages

As Test Lead, you'll be responsible for:

Test Strategy & Governance *

• Own and run the overall test strategy, approach, and standards for the programme

• Ensure testing aligns with programme milestones, release plans, and business priorities

• Establish test governance, reporting, and quality metrics across all testing

• Ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory quality standards

Test Planning & Delivery

• Lead the creation and maintenance of detailed test plans covering UAT, regression, performance, and cutover testing.
• Coordinate test activities across multiple business areas.
• Ensure test environments, data, and tooling are planned and available in line with schedules.
• Oversee execution of test cycles, ensuring timely progress and clear outcomes

Do you have experience in User acceptance testing?, * Extensive experience leading testing on large-scale, complex transformation programmes.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end testing across integrated enterprise systems.
• Proven experience managing UAT with significant business involvement.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and complex commercial systems (e.g. CPQ) desirable.
• Experience of managing testing within Azure DevOps
