Job description
A leading education provider is seeking a Senior Noodle Developer for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will play a key role in developing, enhancing and supporting their core digital learning platforms, including Moodle, lecture capture systems, and related assessment tools., * Provide expert support for Moodle and digital learning systems.
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality applications, integrations and features.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and deliver clean, scalable fixes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Contribute to key digital projects with technical guidance and solution design.
- Maintain documentation, ensure data security and support business continuity.
Requirements
- Strong technical expertise with Moodle (plugin development, integrations, etc.).
- Skilled in PHP, JavaScript, CSS, NodeJS, jQuery (Python desirable).
- Knowledge of Linux (coding languages), REST APIs, CI/CD, Agile and test-driven development.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- PRINCE2 or ITIL4 Foundation.
- Experience in higher education or digital learning environments.
- Working knowledge of Azure and engagement in Moodle/e-learning communities.
