Job description
We are looking for a Middle/Senior Automation QA Engineer with strong backend testing skills, over 5 years of overall testing experience, 2+ years of solid Python automation, and experience working in a cross-functional product team. Knowledge of fintech is very important. Personal experience in trading, working with exchanges, or crypto wallets is a big plus., * Analyze product and technical requirements, identify edge cases and potential risks;
- Design and implement automated tests for backend services and APIs using Python;
- Use manual testing as part of analysis, debugging, and exploratory testing when needed;
- Maintain and improve the existing Python-based automation framework;
- Review automated tests written by other team members and provide feedback;
- Collaborate closely with backend developers, product managers, and other QA engineers in a product team;
- Contribute to improving testing approaches and tooling within the product scope.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Test automation?, You have:
- Solid skills in test analysis and test design;
- Strong experience in backend Python automation;
- Good understanding of API testing principles and tools;
- Confidence working in the Linux shell (basic scripting, log analysis, managing services);
- Experience in architecting, designing, and evolving test automation frameworks.
Will be a plus:
- Experience testing exchange cores, trading systems, or other high-load financial platforms, or personal experience with trading;
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps/TestOps practices;
- Experience with non-functional testing (performance, reliability, stability);
- Ability to read Go code;
- Basic SQL skills for checking queries and reviewing migrations., * Intelligent, scholarly and intellectually curious
- Confident and supports perspectives with logical arguments
