We are seeking a Hardware Full-Stack Developer to support our R&D team at Next Generation Sensors B.V. in developing robust and scalable software for our portable analytical instruments.

You will work closely with R&D, Laboratory, and Product Development teams to create embedded and cloud-connected solutions with real-world impact. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining software for instrument control, data acquisition, and signal processing, building user-friendly interfaces for device interaction and feedback, supporting cloud-connected platforms for secure storage, analytics, and traceability, integrating firmware with hardware components and sensors, writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and contributing to design reviews, sprint planning, and innovation discussions. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a similar field, and is proficient in Python, C/C++, or comparable languages. You have experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, or real-time software, and are familiar with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as REST APIs and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with algorithms, analytical devices, data analytics, or signal processing is a plus. Fluency in English is required, as it is the primary working language. In this role, you will contribute directly to solutions in food safety, border security, and public safety by enabling rapid on-site analysis and actionable insights.
