As a Power Apps Developer, you'll work alongside experienced developers and project teams to design, build and support applications used across the business.
Your role will include:
Developing applications
- Designing and building apps using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
- Learning how to enhance applications with custom code where required
Automation & integration
- Using Power Automate to streamline and automate business processes
- Connecting applications to databases, APIs and other systems to ensure smooth data flow
Working as part of a team
- Collaborating with developers, project managers and business analysts
- Taking part in Agile / SCRUM ceremonies such as sprint planning and stand-ups
- Contributing ideas and learning best practice from experienced colleagues
Support & continuous improvement
- Helping to maintain and improve existing applications
- Troubleshooting issues and supporting users as systems evolve
- Creating clear documentation so solutions are easy to understand and support
Doing things the right way
- Learning and applying best practice around security, data protection and quality
- Making sure solutions meet organisational and industry standards
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, Are you a recent graduate with a passion for technology, problem-solving and learning new skills? Want to work on real-world digital solutions that make a genuine difference to how a major organisation operates?, You'll ideally have:
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related subject
- An interest in low-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Apps / Power Automate
- Some experience or understanding of programming (e.g. Java, .NET, Python or similar)
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
- A logical, problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and confidence working with non-technical colleagues
- A willingness to learn, ask questions and take on new challenges
