Job description

We're looking for someone to support our Product Owner in delivering exciting new features across the edays product portfolio. You'll play a key role in turning ideas and designs into clear, actionable user stories, working closely with developers, and helping ensure features are delivered smoothly and successfully.

If you enjoy bringing clarity to complexity, collaborating across teams, and being at the heart of product delivery, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Be Doing

Turning Ideas into Action

  • Translate Figma designs and prototypes into clear, detailed user stories
  • Write testable acceptance criteria
  • Break down complex features into manageable pieces
  • Refine backlog items as they get closer to development
  • Use AI tools to help draft and improve documentation

Supporting Agile Delivery

  • Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retros, and backlog refinement
  • Keep sprint goals clear and on track
  • Remove blockers and help maintain momentum

Bridging Design & Development

  • Review designs and clarify requirements with designers
  • Flag technical questions or feasibility concerns early
  • Ensure developers have everything they need (assets, specs, flows)
  • Support smooth handovers from design to development

Working Across Teams

  • Act as a go-between for product and development
  • Answer questions and clarify requirements
  • Review completed work to ensure it meets expectations
  • Gather feedback from sales, support, and marketing
  • Help with release notes and feature communications

Requirements

Do you have experience in Scrum?, Essential Skills

  • Clear and confident written communication
  • Ability to translate designs into practical requirements
  • Comfortable working with developers and technical teams
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Organised, proactive, and collaborative
  • Familiar with agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban)

Nice to Have (But Not Essential)

  • Experience with Figma
  • Comfortable using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT
  • SaaS or B2B product experience
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
  • Basic understanding of APIs, data, or SQL
