Job description

As an Information Security Analyst, you'll play a central role in improving how SNG manages and protects its information. You'll support our Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) activities, analyse ROT (Redundant, Obsolete, Trivial) data, and help drive remediation across the business.

You'll also design and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rules, support data classification and retention policies, and contribute to the ongoing development of our information security governance framework.

This role sits within the Information Security team and reports to the Information Security Governance Lead.

What You'll Do

  • Manage DSPM activities to identify and address data security risks across structured and unstructured data.
  • Analyse ROT data and coordinate remediation actions with business teams.
  • Design, implement, and maintain DLP rules to prevent unauthorised data sharing and leakage.
  • Support the rollout of data classification and retention policies.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating Information Security governance policies and standards.
  • Prepare evidence for internal audits and external assessments, tracking remediation progress.
  • Identify governance-related risks and escalate findings with recommendations.
  • Produce reports and dashboards on DSPM findings, DLP effectiveness, and remediation progress.
  • Work collaboratively with business units to ensure compliance with governance and security standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify patterns.

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Experience with DSPM tools or data security posture management.
  • Knowledge of creating and managing DLP rules.
  • Understanding of ROT analysis and data lifecycle management.
