Job description
As an experienced Hosting engineer, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the design, build and distribution of enterprise-wide Hosting solutions, working closely with architects, other engineers, and Delivery Managers to plan, implement, and support these secure and robust solutions. You'll also play a key role in shaping our infrastructure engineering strategy, driving us towards modern Hosting solutions, infrastructure/configuration-as-code and automation., * The opportunity to be a Senior Engineer in the Hosting and Identity Infrastructure engineering Team across Nuffield Health - recommending the technologies, tools and ways of working that we adopt to build, deploy and run our Healthcare solutions.

Requirements
- Proven experience across Azure Cloud and on-premises Windows Server infrastructure, with a strong experience in Microsoft Azure including Entra ID, Microsoft Azure (IaaS + PaaS), Identity access (Privileged Identity Management, Conditional Access Policies, RBAC). Active Directory including DNS, DHCP, Windows Server & Virtualisation Platforms.
Desirable:

SQL, Windows Server & Virtualisation Platforms (Nutanix/VMware/Horizon), Identity Protocols & Federation. Automation and scripting PowerShell/scripting/IaC, solid understanding of networking, load balancing, patching and backing up (Commvault). Microsoft Identity Manager, Privileged Access Management Software (PAM), Certificate Management, Anti-Virus Software.

Experience working collaboratively with architects and project managers to agree enterprise-wide solution designs and standards and plan the implementation of these across both a central and multi-region estate., * Strong analytical and problem-solving skill with the ability to deliver complex technical tasks with minimal oversight.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with Identity teams, Network/Security teams, Application owners, Architects & Incident/Problem managers and technical stakeholders.
