iOS developer

As a Senior iOS developer, you will play a key role in our tech ecosystem, collaborating closely with other developers to enhance and optimise our current and future customer applications.

We're seeking someone with strong technical expertise and solid hands-on experience who can help us define our products to deliver an exceptional user experience as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities

• Design and development: Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Leadership and change management: Define necessary changes in the development process, guide and seek viable solutions
• Performance and quality testing: Ensure the performance and responsiveness of iOS applications
• Middleware and framework implementation: Apply middleware, SDKs, and frameworks to enhance application functionality
• Code quality and maintenance: Write and preserve clean, testable, and high-quality code

• A minimum 7 years of iOS development experience
• Proficiency work within Agile development methodologies
• Comfortable using version control systems such as Git
• Solid understanding of the iOS Software Development Kit (SDK) and various iOS frameworks
• Proven experience in working with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of architecture patterns like MVP, MVVM and Clean architecture
• Awareness of Unit/UI testing
• Engaged with local databases like Realm
• Ability to work in Rx (Reactive Extensions)
• Hands-on experience with various Mobile APIs, including Accelerometer, Camera, Local Storage, Animations, Google Maps, Location Services, and Encryption
• Experience in developing accessibility standards (in accordance with WCAG 2.x Level A and AA)

Experience in the below would be considered a plus

• Familiar with CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
• A good taste in design and User Experience
