Power BI Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Expert ("Problem Solver" level) who combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen. This role will act as a go-to escalation point for complex reporting, modeling, and performance challenges. This is a key role where business stakeholders directly observe outputs and expect excellence., * Design and develop enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and semantic models

• Build optimized data models using DAX, Tabular models, composite models
• Solve performance bottlenecks and long refresh issues
• Work closely with data engineers to optimize data consumption
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions
• Establish best practices for governance, workspace management, and security
• Guide stakeholders on data storytelling and insight generation

Do you have experience in Power BI?, * 6+ years in BI / analytics roles

• 4+ years deep hands-on Power BI experience
• Expert-level DAX and data modeling knowledge
• Strong experience troubleshooting refresh and performance issues
• Experience integrating large datasets from Databricks or Fabric

Preferred Skills:

• Strong business understanding (Insurance / Benefits / Banking preferred)
• Experience with SSAS (Tabular / Multidimensional)
• Knowledge of Fabric architecture
• Experience working in stakeholder-heavy agile environments

Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Bridgenext provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as described above. The current salary range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000 CAD annually. Our comprehensive total rewards program goes way beyond a competitive salary.
