Job description

The Document Controller is responsible for managing, maintaining, and controlling all project documentation using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). This role ensures accurate document version control, timely distribution, and compliance with project information management procedures throughout the project lifecycle. The position plays a critical role in supporting effective collaboration between consultants, contractors, and client teams., Document Control & Information Management

Administer and maintain all project documentation within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), ensuring correct version control and traceability. Manage document workflows including submission, review, approval, and distribution in accordance with project procedures. Ensure documents are correctly named, classified, and stored in line with project naming conventions and information management standards. Control and track incoming and outgoing correspondence, drawings, technical submissions, and records. Autodesk Construction Cloud Administration

Set up and maintain ACC project folders, permissions, and user access rights. Monitor document status, transmittals, and review workflows within ACC. Provide first-line support to project team members on ACC usage and document processes. Generate reports from ACC on document status, overdue reviews, and submission trackers. Coordination & Compliance

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and client representatives to ensure timely document submissions and approvals. Ensure compliance with project Information Management Plans (IMP), BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and ISO 19650 requirements where applicable. Support audits by maintaining accurate and complete document records. Reporting & Record Management

Maintain document registers, drawing logs, and correspondence trackers. Prepare weekly and monthly document control reports for project management teams. Archive project records in accordance with client and company requirements at project close-out.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in document control within construction or engineering projects. Proven hands-on experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is mandatory. Core Competencies
