Senior .NET Backend Engineer

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for, * Design, develop, optimize, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET Core.

• Build and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs (ASP.NET Core).
• Work with relational databases, ensuring optimized queries and robust data integrity.
• Configure and maintain rulesets and governance policies for autonomous AI development agents, ensuring safe and efficient operation across the delivery lifecycle., * Work closely with front-end engineers to design efficient and scalable APIs.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to team planning and delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.

DevOps, Cloud & Architecture

• Containerize backend services using Docker.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate build and deployment processes.
• Monitor system health using logging, metrics, and tracing; drive performance and reliability improvements.
• Ensure backend systems follow security best practices.
• Contribute to the design and operation of highly available, scalable, distributed architectures.
• Work within cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with new backend technologies and emerging engineering practices.
• Propose improvements to system architecture and development workflows.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Do you have experience in System architecture?, * Minimum 6 years of experience in backend development.

• Proven experience building and maintaining scalable backend services.
• Strong hands-on experience with unit, integration, and load testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience with AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude-Code), including configuration and rule management.
• Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Languages

• Fluent in English (mandatory).
• French language proficiency is a plus.

Communication

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
• Knowledge and development of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and modern architectures.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker or Kubernetes).
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and AI agent configuration.
• React and NoSQL database knowledge are a plus.
