IT Audit Manager

Amadeus' Group Internal Audit helps the organization improve its operations and accomplish its objectives:

• through the delivery of independent, objective assurance (3rd Line of Defense) and consulting services,
• by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

The position is based in Madrid and can involve occasional travel to other Amadeus locations.

The role consists in performing Information Technology reviews across the Amadeus IT Group's activities worldwide.

In this role you will:

• Design and execute audit reviews for operational processes, system implementations, applications, IT infrastructures and other IT related risk areas.
• The reviews typically cover the IT General controls, System stability, Information security, Software development life cycle, IT operations, Business continuity, Security, Data Privacy, PCI-DSS, ISO... Other fields could also be envisaged, according to the expertise and areas of interest of the candidate.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders while performing reviews.
• Formalize independent assessments and recommendations.
• Partner with key stakeholders (IT, Risk and Compliance, business areas, Security…) to acknowledge major IT related initiatives across the company.
• Participate in advisory activities, evaluating and recommending improvements to business practices, processes, and control procedures.

Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Holds a university degree in Computer Science or related discipline(s);

• Has a strong background in information technology, obtained through 6+ years of relevant experience in IT/IS Audit in a multicultural environment;
• Is proficient with Data Analytics and the use of CAAT tools;
• Is proficient in English (both spoken and written);
• Demonstrates solid attention to detail, and ability to clearly communicate information to a wide range of audiences;
• Professional certifications (e.g. CIA/CISSP/CIPP/ISO 27000/PCI DSS/CISA..) would be considered a plus, however not required.
