Job description

  • Responding, resolving, and troubleshooting 2nd level Support issues on all IT Network and Firewall areas

  • Resolve issues escalated by the 1st level support team.

  • Diagnose and rectify any problems with the network and firewalls and associated peripherals.

  • Maintain our firewalls and stay updated on any released security vulnerabilities and how they affect our network.

  • Maintain our Network Devices and stay updated on any released security vulnerabilities and how they affect our network.

  • Create and review changes based on requirements to our firewalls and implement them from the scratch.

  • Prepare relevant documentation to support, give input to the problem and knowledge processes based on daily work experience.

  • If assigned to projects, work with project managers to ensure managed system changes/tasks are completed to meet business requirements.

  • Identify the opportunities to improve overall operational performance & saving costs.

  • Adherence to Noble, Group policies and compliance

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel as per business needs.

  • Be part of the 24/7 rotation scheme

  • Create and update SOPs for L2 and L1

  • Update and maintain documentation.

  • Other tasks/responsibilities that may be asked from time to time.

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher required.

Technologies to support

Requirements

  • Subject matter expert for network security firewalls: Palo Alto, Fortinet or equivalent is a must, preferable minimum of 5 years' experience. Advantage with certification and training.

  • Be subject matter expert for Cisco Networks (Routing and Switch) and SDWAN Technology, Wireless, Voice, and Video. Advantage with certification., * Working experience with Cisco, Palo Alto and Fortinet technologies or equivalent: ACL, VPN, WAN, SD-WAN (including network protocols DMVPN, EIGRP, OSPF, RIP & BGP, verify, assess and implementing changes

  • Working experience with Cisco Nexus and Cisco ISE is an advantage.

  • Working experience with Cisco routers, switches, Prime, QOS, client-based VPN, & WLC and Meraki Technologies.

  • Working experience with PAC scripts and Python for automation.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite (Visio, Outlook, Lync, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Good knowledge of Windows 11 OS and Windows server OS (from 2006 and up)

  • Experience with Solar Winds is a strong advantage (NTA, NCM & NPM)

  • (Hyper-V and VMware), Outlook 365, Windows Server 2012 and 2016 is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of cloud networking infrastructure like Azure, AWS, Nutanix or equivalent.

  • Experience on VSAT, Starlink, Fiber, LoS Technology

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing system and SolarWinds for network monitoring.
