Job description

Elevation Recruitment Group are looking for a proactive and technically capable IT Manager to take ownership of our entire IT function; from day-to-day support through to strategic infrastructure, security, and emerging technologies.

This is a hands-on role with real autonomy, where you'll have the opportunity to shape how technology drives the business forward.

You'll be the go-to person for all things IT, providing 1st-3rd line support to users across the business while managing the underlying infrastructure that keeps everything running. Your responsibilities will span the full IT lifecycle, including:

  • Infrastructure & Asset Management - Installing, monitoring, and maintaining IT assets, with full oversight of the asset lifecycle from procurement to decommission.
  • Security & Compliance -Maintaining our Cyber Essentials+ certification, ensuring all devices are patched and compliant, and managing any security incidents end-to-end.
  • Business Continuity - Keeping our disaster recovery processes current, tested, and effective.
  • Cloud Services - Managing our cloud environment with a focus on security, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Automation & AI - Developing scalable workflow automations and exploring AI technologies that can drive productivity across the business.
  • ERP Management - Supporting our ERP systems and liaising with third-party providers to resolve issues.
  • User Lifecycle Management - Onboarding new starters, setting up accounts and machines, and ensuring prompt offboarding when employees leave.
  • IT Procurement - Sourcing the right equipment and services while identifying cost savings.
  • Training - Delivering end-user training on new systems and tools.

Requirements

  • Solid experience across a broad range of IT disciplines, from helpdesk support through to infrastructure management
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and a good understanding of cloud cost management
  • Familiarity with Cyber Essentials+ or similar security frameworks
  • Experience managing or supporting ERP systems
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • An interest in AI and emerging technologies and how they can be applied in a business context

You'll be joining a growing business where IT genuinely matters. This isn't a role where you'll be one of many - you'll have real ownership, a direct impact on the business, and the opportunity to grow your skills across a wide and evolving technology landscape.
