Job description

Are you an experienced Full stack developer experienced in Java and front-end technologies like Angular, JS, etc. wanting to join a small enthusiastic software development team working within the IT Department of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust?

The post underpins the Trust's vision to develop a flexible, clinically focussed, integrated Electronic Patient Record within a service orientated environment.

The candidate must be able to act as lead specialist in the field of Java development and play a key role in planning, developing and implementing software solutions. This role will engage with NHS professionals at all levels, across multiple sites. You will demonstrate a passion for developing systems to meet clinical needs and supporting organisational processes. The successful candidate will have experience developing systems using:

  • Java/JEE
  • Hibernate
  • Eclipse (any suitable IDE)
  • SQL
  • Agile PM
  • Angular, HTML, JS, etc.

Additional skills are Maven, Subversion SVN, Git, AngularJS, HL7, SOA, CSS, HTML, Web services (Rest/SOAP), Tomcat Application server, Jenkins, SQL, SQL Server Management Tool, etc.
