Job description

We're looking for a Business Intelligence Assistant to join our Business Intelligence (BI) team on a fixed term basis for 12 months. This role supports the delivery of high-quality data, reporting and insights across Children's Services.

You will play a key part in ensuring TfC's data is accurate, reliable and effectively used. This includes:

Supporting the collection, validation, cleansing and analysis of data Carrying out data quality checks and help improve data standards across schools and childcare settings Running routine performance reports for internal and external stakeholders Providing email/telephone support to schools and childcare providers using TfC systems Building strong working relationships with colleagues, partners and customers Managing your own workload and support the wider BI team in meeting key deadlines

This is a great opportunity to work within the BI team, collaborating with Social Care, Early Help, Youth Justice, Education, SEND and Transformation teams. Requirements

Are passionate about improving the lives of children and families. Have experience working with performance data and information, data cleansing and validation. Can communicate clearly in writing and over the phone dealing confidently with customers and stakeholders. Enjoy working with data and understand the importance of data quality Bring experience from Children's Services or similar settings, with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by the local government.
