Job description

Develop and maintain infrastructure and cloud roadmaps, including transition states for migrating Legacy systems, adopting new cloud services, and decommissioning obsolete platforms.

Define and maintain cloud reference architectures, ensuring consistency, reusability, and alignment with organisational standards.

Act as design authority for hosting, networking, identity, and platform services, providing guidance and assurance across projects and workstreams.

Champion the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and DevOps practices to deliver consistent, repeatable, and efficient infrastructure solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and delivering cloud and infrastructure solutions (Azure essential) within complex organisations.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, including landing zones, governance models, cost optimisation, and hybrid-cloud approaches.
- Strong expertise in networking, hosting, and identity services, including Active Directory, identity federation, firewalls, VPNs, and secure connectivity.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools, such as Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or Ansible.
- Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, and their role in modern infrastructure.
