Job description
As a Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) - 6 month FTC, you'll have an ownership role that is critical to our cloud technology strategy. With responsibility and ownership for ensuring our cloud security posture remains strong; you'll provide cloud subject matter expertise across our cloud infrastructure, network, and application stack. Working with the other business units ensuring that any recommendations are remediated efficiently ensuring a secure and reliable estate, you'll build and maintain the Public Cloud Shared Infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Ensuring our cloud security posture remains strong.
- Identifying vulnerabilities and misconfigurations across our cloud infrastructure, network and applications.
- Working with our IT and Developer teams to ensure robust, secure processes are adhered to throughout our Public Cloud.
- Providing best practise recommendations to improve our overall cloud security approach.
- Reviewing vulnerability and penetration testing reports undertaken against cloud-based assets.
- Reporting on security risks to PXC security risk governance forums.
- Maintaining alignment between our cloud assets and security architecture.
- Provide senior input into the Public Cloud Solution Designer low & high level designs.
- Supporting and reviewing access to cloud assets.
- Providing key cloud subscription financial metrics, set up reservations and drive continual improvements.
- Build and maintain Public Cloud Shared infrastructure.
- Work with incident, change and problem management teams as required.
- Professionally represent the public cloud team as a technical consultant on projects interacting and coordinate with peers, vendors, suppliers and consultants for the needs of the business.
- Management of Azure Microsoft Entra.
- Management of Public cloud Infra Networking.
- Management of Cloud Policies.
