Senior ServiceNow Developer

Ricoh is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer who will serve as a technical lead, design authority, and trusted advisor across our expanding ServiceNow landscape.

This is a role for someone who not only excels in complex solution design but can also influence senior stakeholders, challenge requirements that compromise platform integrity, and shape the strategic direction of a multi-instance environment.

In this position, you'll guide the evolution of Ricoh's ServiceNow ecosystem, both internally and across customer-facing platforms, ensuring every solution strikes the right balance between business value, long-term maintainability, and enterprise architecture principles.

What you will be doing

• Lead and own end-to-end technical design for ServiceNow solutions, ensuring scalability, reusability, and alignment with enterprise architectural standards.
• Act as a senior technical authority, advising on complex integrations, solution patterns, data models, and architectural decisions.
• Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, shaping requirements, advising on feasibility, and challenging requests that undermine platform health or long-term stability.
• Drive engineering excellence, setting coding standards, conducting peer reviews, and promoting best practices across multiple agile squads.
• Guide platform governance, ensuring integrations, data flows, and extended capabilities adhere to enterprise security, architectural, and compliance frameworks.
• Champion AI-enabled platform capabilities, including NowAssist, Agentic AI, and predictive intelligence, embedding intelligent automation across workflows.
• Mentor engineers, upskilling the development community in advanced patterns such as scoped apps, Flow Designer, integrations, and API-first architectures.
• Represent the ServiceNow function in technical steering groups, influencing platform strategy, innovation, and roadmap prioritisation.

Do you have experience in Sustainable design?, * Extensive enterprise-level ServiceNow development experience, including ownership of complex solution design and delivery.

• Demonstrable senior stakeholder management capability, including the ability to translate complex needs, set expectations, and push back on non-viable or non-strategic requirements.
• Proven expertise in architecting multi-module ServiceNow solutions, ideally across ITSM, CSM, FSM, and AI capabilities.
• Strong understanding of platform governance, code management (Git), DevOps pipelines, and sustainable design principles.
• Deep technical proficiency in ServiceNow architecture, data modelling, and integration frameworks.
• A track record of shaping platform direction, influencing development standards, and elevating engineering maturity.
• ServiceNow CSA essential; additional certifications (ITSM, ITOM, App Dev) highly advantageous.
• Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• Project Management, ITIL v4 Practitioner, and/or Agile experience would be a significant plus.
