Fullstack Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Full-Stack Developer who blends deep technical expertise with strong software team leadership.

In this role, you will take full technical ownership of the platform that powers our client's manufacturing ecosystem. You'll guide architectural direction, ensure operational stability, and lead a team of engineers while working at the intersection of cloud services, web technologies, and hardware integration.

This is an ideal position for someone who wants to own a mission-critical system in a high-impact environment where digital and physical systems meet. What You'll Do Technical Ownership & Architecture

• Own core platform architecture across cloud, services, and hardware-linked systems
• Develop and evolve React / TypeScript / Node.js applications
• Modernise systems, reduce technical debt, and enforce coding standards
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability across the stack

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps

• Oversee AWS components including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and related services
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Manage CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)
• Improve system performance, observability, and cost-efficiency

System Integration & Hardware Interfaces

• Collaborate with hardware and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration
• Maintain stable interfaces between software, devices, and operational workflows
• Align roadmaps with manufacturing requirements

Software Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the on-site software engineering team
• Set sprint goals and ensure predictable, structured execution
• Define ownership and accountability within the team
• Translate product requirements into actionable technical plans

• Expert-level TypeScript / Node.js and modern front-end frameworks
• Solid AWS background (serverless highly preferred)
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
• Background in distributed systems architecture
• Ability to break down complexity into clear implementation steps
• Excellent communication with cross-functional stakeholders
• Willingness to work on-site in Vienna

Nice to Have

• Experience in hardware-software integration
• Exposure to manufacturing, robotics, or industrial systems
• IoT or edge device experience
• Python or Ansible exposure

Salary: €80K Negotiable.
