Job description

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled "Multiple IT Support Specialists" to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues across the organization, providing exceptional customer service to users with varying technical expertise.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Hardware Preparation
  • Device Provisioning: Assign and log physical assets such as laptops, monitors, and peripherals (keyboards, mice, headsets).
  • Physical Inspection: Perform hardware checks to ensure functionality of cameras, microphones, ports, and other components.
  • Asset Tagging: Apply company asset tags and document assignments for accurate inventory tracking.
  • Intune Awareness: Basic understanding of Microsoft Intune for device enrollment and management.
  1. Software & Security Configuration
  • System Imaging: Apply corporate desktop images (OS) to ensure devices meet company standards.
  • Application Installation: Install required productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams) and role-specific software.
  • Updates: Ensure the Operating System and all installed drivers are fully patched and up to date.
  1. Account & Access Provisioning
  • Permissions: Grant access to shared network drives, VPN groups, and required cloud applications based on role.
  • MFA Enrollment: Assist users with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) setup to secure logins from day one.
  • Connectivity Testing: Verify devices connect successfully to company Wi-Fi and VPN.
  • Documentation: Log completed setups and actions in the ServiceNow ticketing system for record-keeping.
  1. Professionalism & Work Practices
  • Maintain office timings and attendance (8.5 hours per day).
  • Demonstrate professionalism and a calm demeanor when assisting users, especially during technical issues.
  • Travel to different client sites as required; must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Desktop support?, * 2+ years of relevant IT support experience (hardware/software troubleshooting, account provisioning).

  • Hands-on experience with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Teams, and basic Intune knowledge.
  • Understanding of networking concepts including VPN, Wi-Fi, and basic connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with users.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle for site visits.
  • Must be willing to travel to different sites as required.
