Job description
You'll report to the Lead Content Designer (ex Octopus, Cazoo, Bumble), who'll support you with your priorities and career growth. You'll also be part of a multi-disciplinary UX team, co-designing new features and making existing ones work better for people. You'll work closely day-to-day with UX Designers and Researchers, and partner across Product, Engineering and Data on an exciting roadmap.
You'll also work with your Content Design teammates on content operations and governance, contributing to our guidelines and systems. And, of course, you'll have opportunities to work closely with AI, both in the product and as part of our ways of working.
In a typical week, you might
- Co-design clear, intuitive end-to-end journeys, leading on content
- Bring clarity to complex propositions, working with our tone of voice
- Develop and execute a content strategy to drive clarity and conversion
- Use insights, testing and performance data to strengthen your content decisions
- Work closely with Product, Design, Research and Engineering, helping to shape solutions to user and business challenges
- Provide strategic support across teams, ensuring consistency and coherence with the wider product experience
- Create scalable, reusable content patterns that uphold our content design system standards
- Champion inclusion and accessibility best practices within the wider Product team
Requirements
Do you have experience in UX?, * Experience designing content for digital products
- Experience testing and optimising your content for conversion, with support
- Experience working with a tone of voice to suit the needs and contexts of different situations and audiences
- A collaborative mindset and skills in communicating your rationale to teammates effectively
- Proactive interest in using AI to support how you work
- Foundational understanding of UX best practices and design principles
Desirable
- Experience working in the travel, transport or ecommerce industry
- Experience thinking about how content shapes behaviour in ecommerce
