Job description

As Test Engineer, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring the quality of our voice and communications software platform. You will lead our QA function, driving best practices and introducing automation to enhance efficiency.

This role will suit someone that thrives in an environment that requires both strategic thinking and practical execution. You will need to be a highly-skilled communicator, championing the importance of high quality throughout the business. You will be enthusiastic, have strong technical acumen, and enjoy a hands-on approach to quality engineering in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
  • Identify, record, and track defects using issue tracking tools
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve product quality
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide test estimates
  • Ensure software meets quality standards and business requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes

Requirements

To thrive in this role you will need a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking. Key skills and experience include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in software testing or quality assurance
  • Knowledge of manual and automated testing techniques
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
  • Understanding of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
