Job description

Location: Hybrid - London or Cambridge office 3 days a week (occasional travel between offices may be required), * Assess the current infrastructure setup, identify weaknesses, and propose improvements

  • Work on large-scale, high-value infrastructure projects - designing and implementing robust, scalable solutions
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure infrastructure aligns with business goals
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems
  • Drive best practices across infrastructure and cloud operations
  • Provide technical expertise to ensure system reliability, security, and scalability

Requirements

Salary: Negotiable annual salary + excellent benefits Requirements for Senior DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer:

  • Extensive experience working in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability roles
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Karpenter, Prometheus, and Terraform
  • Strong preference for an excellent academic background (i.e. 2.1 or 1st class degree, AAB+ at A Level, etc.)
  • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end infrastructure projects from design to implementation
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to present proposals and solutions to senior leadership
  • Self-starter who thrives in an individual contributor position
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies

Desirable experience:

  • Cilium or similar service mesh
  • Flux (or Argo as an alternative)
  • Ansible
