Business Analyst with Data Analysis

Lead end-to-end requirements activities (elicitation, documentation, validation) for complex, data-driven change.

Translate business outcomes into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria (Agile) and comprehensive BRDs/FRDs (Waterfall).

Map current/future data flows; define data models, lineage, quality rules, and controls.

Partner with data engineers/architects to shape pragmatic solution options aligned to a solid high-level understanding of data infrastructure.

Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders; surface trade-offs; maintain clear communication and decision records.

Do you have experience in Waterfall?, We're seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong data background to drive analysis and delivery across data-centric initiatives. You'll partner with Product, Technology, and Operations to define requirements, shape solution options, and ensure change lands effectively in both Agile and Waterfall environments., Must have

7+ years as a Business Analyst, with demonstrable leadership on complex, multi-team initiatives.

Strong data analysis skill set (profiling, validation, SQL basics, data quality, lineage) and experience working alongside data engineering/architecture teams.

Proven ability to operate across Agile and Waterfall-comfortable running or contributing to ceremonies and traditional project governance.

Excellent requirements engineering, process mapping (BPMN), and documentation practices; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Outstanding stakeholder engagement, influencing, and communication-able to act proactively and self-start in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

Avaloq platform experience/exposure (banking/wealth management context).
