Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Operations

• Design, implement and operate core cloud platform components
• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Develop custom Kubernetes operators and automation tooling
• Write production-grade Go and Python for platform services
• Improve reliability, scalability and cost efficiency across AWS, GCP or Azure
• Enhance observability through monitoring, logging, alerting and metrics
• Automate operational workflows and platform integrations
• Collaborate closely with Platform, Regional and Feature Engineering teams
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis and system hardening
• Continuously reduce operational overhead (KTLO) through engineering improvements

Senior Software Engineers skills

• 5+ years' experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure or SRE-focused roles
• Strong proficiency in Go and Python (deep expertise in one, with ability to work in both)
• Proven experience running Kubernetes in production
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code and automation frameworks
• Comfortable working in on-call rotations and managing production incidents
• Strong ownership mindset and clear communication skills

Desirable

• Experience building Kubernetes operators or control-plane components
• Background within SaaS, database or systems-level product companies
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry or similar tooling
• Knowledge of networking, load balancing or service mesh technologies
• Contributions to open-source projects
