Job description

We are seeking a Data Analyst to support our commercial and operational teams by turning travel and booking data into clear business insights. The role will focus on analysing booking patterns, customer trends, service performance, and sales data to improve decision-making across our travel operations.

This is a core business role that will help improve reporting quality, identify demand trends, support service planning, and strengthen internal data processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, clean, and collate datasets from internal systems (e.g., bookings, enquiries, sales, customer service, and supplier records).

  • Develop and maintain reliable data management processes, templates, and reporting standards to improve data quality and consistency.

  • Analyse data to identify trends and patterns, including:

  • booking volumes and seasonality

  • destination/package demand

  • customer enquiry-to-booking conversion

  • cancellations/refunds trends

  • team and service performance indicators

  • Create dashboards, reports, and visual summaries (e.g., KPI dashboards, weekly and monthly performance reports) for management and operational teams.

  • Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to support planning, pricing, service delivery, and customer experience decisions.

  • Support management with forecasting and performance tracking for campaigns, travel packages, and operational workflows.

  • Work with relevant teams (sales, customer support, visa processing/travel documentation support, and operations) to define reporting requirements and improve reporting accuracy.

  • Review data discrepancies and support continuous improvement of data capture and reporting processes.

  • Ensure data handling is accurate, timely, and compliant with internal procedures., * Work in a growing travel business with a direct impact on customer experience and operational performance

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tableau?, * Experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytics/reporting role

  • Strong skills in data analysis, data cleaning, and reporting
  • Experience using Excel/Google Sheets and at least one reporting/visualisation tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio)
  • Confidence working with large datasets and producing clear management reports
  • Ability to explain findings in a simple and practical way to non-technical colleagues
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to data accuracy

Desirable

  • Experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, booking platforms, or customer service operations
  • SQL knowledge (e.g., querying operational or sales datasets)
  • Experience with CRM or booking systems
  • Experience building KPI dashboards for commercial or operations teams
