Job description

At TWI, our digital platforms play a vital role in how we connect with our global audience - from industry partners and members to event delegates and colleagues worldwide. We're looking for a proactive and technically capable Web Developer / Designer to join our Global Marketing team and help us continue to evolve and strengthen our digital presence.

This is a varied and collaborative role, combining hands-on development with creative problem solving. You'll design, build and maintain websites and microsites, support digital campaigns, and ensure our online platforms are secure, accessible and aligned with TWI's brand and organisational goals.

You'll work closely with colleagues across Marketing, ICT and external partners to deliver a consistent, high-quality user experience across all digital touchpoints.

Requirements

Do you have experience in WCAG?, You'll bring strong front-end development experience and a practical understanding of modern web technologies, along with the confidence to work collaboratively across teams., * Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with experience in responsive front-end development.

  • Experience working with CMS platforms, ideally Contensis by Zengenti.
  • Understanding of SEO best practice and Google web tools.
  • Experience integrating third-party services and working with REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and WCAG compliance.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve cross-platform and browser compatibility issues.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of C#, .NET Core and SQL.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and using issue tracking tools such as JIRA.

Working hours:

36 hours per week (full time), 8.30am -16.30pm Monday to Thursday (finishing at 16.15pm on Friday). Part-time and hybrid working available in some roles.
